What we do
When a home is sold at a foreclosure or tax sale for more than what was owed on it, the difference is held by the court or the county. It belongs to the former owner. Most people are never told it exists, the paperwork to claim it is unfamiliar, and there's a deadline after which it's gone.
We find those funds in the public record, reach out to the people they belong to, and handle the claim from start to finish. A licensed attorney in your state files it where one is required. You pay nothing up front, and our fee comes out of the recovery only.
How we'd like you to treat us
Carefully. Ask for the county and case number on the first call, then confirm it with the clerk of courts yourself. You're never required to hire anyone to claim surplus funds, and we'll tell you that on the phone. If we check out and you'd like the help, we're here.
