How surplus funds recovery works
Five steps from the first call to the check. You can verify us at the second one, and you can stop at any of them.
- 01
We find the money
We review public records from foreclosure and tax sales to find surplus that's sitting unclaimed. If we think some of it may be yours, we reach out.
- 02
You check us
On the first call we give you the county and the case number. Call the clerk yourself. Confirm the money is there before we go any further.
- 03
We prepare the claim
We put together the documents the court requires and send them to you to sign. If a notary is needed, we arrange it.
- 04
An attorney files it
A licensed attorney in your state files the claim and deals with the court or trustee holding the funds. You don't pay for that.
- 05
You get paid
When the funds are released, they're disbursed to you. Our fee comes out of the recovery, and only then.
Start with a free review. No cost, no obligation.
Share a few details and a case manager will check the public record for your property and tell you what may be there, in plain language, before you decide anything.
- Nothing to pay to request a review
- You can verify us with the county before you sign anything
- If there's nothing there, we'll tell you that too
