A free review and the information on this site are provided for general purposes only. We do not guarantee that any recovery or eligibility exists. Outcomes depend on the facts of each case and the law that applies to it.
You can always file yourself
You are never required to hire anyone to claim surplus funds. You may file a claim yourself, at no cost, with the county or court holding them.
How fees work
When we take a case, we work on contingency. Our fee comes out of funds actually recovered, and the specific terms are set out in a separate written agreement before any work begins. There are no upfront fees, retainers or filing costs charged to you.
Attorney handling
Where a claim requires legal filing, a licensed attorney in the relevant state is engaged to handle it. Funds released by a court or trustee may be received into an attorney trust account before approved distributions are made.
